Avatar had a lot of neat stuff in it: the creatures, the big tree, the ponytails. I guess Treiss got carried away.
We’re looking forward to the next Avatar movie, which has a lack of ponytail, but a surplus of fire bending.
Thanks for all those who played along with last week’s “caption this”! It gave Tracy a week to recuperate and you seemed to have fun doing it too. Awesome.
We’re looking at going to a convention in September called “Mephit Fur Meet” with our friend Razz, who also happens to be guest of honor this year. I don’t know that we’ll be doing anything there save for hanging out and having fun, but I thought I’d mention it. I’ll have more information later. We’d like to go to an anime convention too. Our fan base is pretty broad and we very much like it that way! If you watch the Facebook group you had a chance to talk about your favorite anime last week. This week I’ll be asking about your favorite mangas. I read a lot of manga too.
Steam had a huge sale on their games over the weekend and I splurged to buy the THQ mega-pack. It was fifty bucks for 20 games. I’ll be well entertained for a long time to come. Right now I’m playing “Dawn of War 2″. I like the chaos marines. They’re really, really gross.
In work related news, we’re about 7 pages away from being done with a 140+ page book for a client. That represents about a year’s worth of work for us, believe it or not. After it’s done and we’ve had a little break, we’ll start working on figuring out how to publish Catena (anyone?), get some neat extra stuff made, and launch an additional comic that I sort of hinted at a while back.
It’s the end of the month, so I’ll just leave the Topwebcomics button off and restart it again next month. Thanks to all who voted in June.
